Mission Statement

To preach the gospel to the unreached and put God's love in action by loving and caring for orphans, vulnerable children, and the marginalized in Southeast Albania.

For forty years, Albania was under one of the cruelest Communist regimes. It was at this time that Albania declared itself an Atheistic country, stating that there is no God. In the year of 1991, Communism finally fell, and the Lord brought His remnant to join with missionaries and bring Christ to the Albanians who were hungry to hear about the Lord.
The Evangelical Church of Libonik was one of the first churches in Albania after the fall of the Communist regime.  Since the 1990s, the church has been instrumental in preaching the gospel to the unreached, planting churches, and forming social ministries to help the marginalized.
The church’s primary location is in Libonik and Maliq, Albania. The region of Maliq includes ninety-eight villages and towns; the church's vision is to reach every town and village with a clear message of salvation through Jesus Christ. As of today, there are a total of nine church plants.
In addition to the Evangelism ministry, the church operates three social projects: a Residential House for Boys, a Day Center for children, and a food distribution program, called Bundles of Blessings, focusing on the poorest of the poor.
