Hosea 14:3 - For in You, the fatherless find compassion.

Quote

"The Residential Home for Boys is changing the lives of children by reflecting the love of Jesus Christ through caring for the child's physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual health. The children in our center grow up to be healthy and integrate into life as people worthy of society" -  Rezearta Zenunllari

Description

In 2011, the church opened a Day Center to prevent begging on the street and help care for children who have not been loved and are in need of physical, social, and psychological care. These children go to the Day Center for the day and are provided two meals and a shower, are registered for school, and learn about God's word.
When a missionary visited from England, he noticed that many of these children live in abandoned buildings. As he saw the need for an orphanage, he sold his second home in England and provided funds so our organization could purchase a house and open an orphanage.  God miraculously provided a building, and the Residential Home was opened in January 2019.

The Residential Home for Boys provides a loving home for orphaned children and children who do not have responsible parents and have significant problems in the family. We reflect the love of Christ by caring for their spiritual, emotional, physical, and educational needs. Currently, there are eight boys who live in the home, aged 6 – 16.

The specific areas that are addressed in the Residential Home for Boys include:

1. To empower the children to become leaders in their communities and their nation by:

• Ensuring the children receive a quality education, take vocational skills classes and other training classes, and inspire them to use their talents for the good of society.
• The Residential Home caretakers help the children with their homework and work with their teachers to ensure they perform well in school.
• The Residential Home caretakers organize activities that develop creative skills through games, stories, etc.
• Enroll the children in English classes.
• To see God through our love and service and to live their life based on God's will.

2. To protect and care for the children.
3. To give the children family and hope.
4. To make them grow and be an excellent example for society.
5. The staff aims to help the children become functioning members of society.
6. To build proper life skills.

Hands of Providence stands for the wellbeing of the child so they can live their life fully. The results of the Residential Home for Boys will be measured by:

1. The children will receive an excellent education.  We believe that quality education will empower the children to be future leaders in Albania.
2. The children will have good health.  Before coming to our Residential Home, the children had medical issues, malnutrition, and never had healthy meals in their diet.  We take the proper measures to ensure that the children are healthy.
3. The children will be involved in the community.  We believe that when children volunteer and are involved in activities in the community, they will take ownership to improve society.
4. The children are cared for and protected by the Residential Home caregivers.  These caregivers will help to give the children a valuable future.
